Purchasing and Ordering: Simple Steps to Ordering Custom Outdoor Furniture
You are ready to bring the comforts of the new family room outdoors. You've spent hours planning the perfect outdoor space. You've gone back and forth between fabric combinations and are finally committed. It's time to place your order...and this is where it gets exciting.
Placing the Order
Once you have decided on your furniture arrangement call us at (800) 872-6525 to place your order. You will speak with one of our customer care specialists that will gather all the information required to complete your order. We will review the order over the phone in detail looking at each item. We will review all possible options for each item including finish, fabric, table options, etc.
Order Processing
We will process the order in our order entry system and send you a digital copy for your review. At the time of the order, your customer care specialist will give you an estimated response time. This response time will be the time you should expect to receive the digital copy for review. Digital copies of your order will be sent to you via email (fax also available by request). We ask that you take the time to review each item including all special instructions for confirmation of the order.
Once you have decided the order is correct we ask that you email back with a confirmation stating "the order is correct." This confirmation finalizes any special instructions for your custom order. For fax requests, we ask you to sign the fax with an OK and fax back to us. Upon receiving the confirmation, we will submit the order for processing with the manufacturer.
Please note: We cannot submit your order until we receive confirmation that the invoice is correct.
Payment Methods
We require a 50% (fifty percent) down payment at the time of order. You may opt to pay in full. Payment options include check, credit card or money order. Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard & Discover Card. Please note: when personal checks are used we will wait until the check clears prior to proceeding with your order.
Once your order is ready to ship from our location we will notify you via email that your order is ready. At that time, if there is a balance due we will process your credit card. Once the balance is paid in full your furniture will ship. Orders will only ship after the balance is paid in full.
Order Status
Once the order is in production the manufacturer will provide us with an estimated completion date. We will keep you up to date on your order by emailing this information to you. It could take up to a week to receive the estimated completion date.
The estimated completion date is an approximate date of completion for your furniture. Your furniture will be scheduled to ship from their facility on or after this date. This is not the same as a delivery date.
The estimated completion date is an estimate. Allocate an additional week to the estimated completion date for transit time. Manufacturers generally are on time with processing orders; however, we cannot guarantee on-time delivery of furniture. Please keep this in mind when planning parties, holidays and other engagements.
Shipping & Delivery
Almost all of the furniture we offer will ship by common carrier (also known as tractor trailer) via curbside delivery.
Curbside delivery is the most common and most affordable method of shipping furniture. Curbside delivery is defined as "deliveries made to the curb at the end of your driveway." The driver delivering your furniture is not responsible for bringing furniture beyond that point. This includes driveways, garage, etc. Drivers will not assist you in unpacking, setting up, or trash removal. You will be responsible for disposal of trash which may include: cardboard, Styrofoam, plastic, and wooden pallets.
For detailed information about delivery procedures please refer to "Shipping & Delivery." This should be reviewed prior to receiving delivery.
Smaller items may ship via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or USPS. In-home delivery services are available. In-home delivery services generally are more expensive and take longer for receiving furniture. This method is an option but we recommend curbside delivery for prompt service. Curbside delivery will be used unless in-home delivery is requested when placing order.
Order Cancellations & Changes
There is a small time frame when you may change or cancel your order. This is when we send you the digital copy of your order for verification. Once we receive your confirmation email we will proceed with placing the order with the manufacturer. You have 48 hours from the time you respond back to us with your order confirmation to make changes to your order.
After 48 hours has passed, the order is officially in production by the manufacturer. At this point we cannot modify the order in any way. We cannot cancel the order. We cannot exchange the order for other furniture or credit. It is standard policy for manufacturers to disallow changes once in production.
